Our retreat on Saturday was a very good thing. We appreciate very much Dave and Jody Nixon and Kevin and Tracy Rains from Vineyard Central for coming down to hang with us and infect us with some of their wisdom. We had a great time. We ate, talked, sang, worshiped, prayed, talked more - good stuff. We were very encouraged. I think it confirmed in us that we really are going in a good direction - we just had to see that we were. It was good to have that "outside" view. Connectedness is a good thing. It doesn't have to be institutional. Get some cool friends you respect and love to come look at you, talk to you, etc. It doesn't have to be some big fancy thing. Again, thanks to those guys!
