some things to look at
Hey people, here are a few things in the blogosphere you might want to take a look at. First, some of us know Mark Palmer, pastor in the Landing Place in Columbus. Last year we sort of prayerfully went through a very hard time with Mark and his son as his wife Jennifer had cancer and eventually died. Joyfully, this year Mark was married again, to Amy, a great woman in their community. The shocker is that just this past month Mark has found out that he has a tumor near his rectum and it is cancer. Yeah, just unbelievable. He begins radiation treatments this week to shrink the tumor before surgery. Let us please join in a very serious way, with other communities in the Midwest and everywhere, in battle against this business. This thing's ass needs to be kicked and I believe it will. It's ridiculous.

A few things to build you up - please make time to read this stuff...

Lent as a season of Grace - Jan. 30 post by Peter Matthews

There you go. Hopefully that gives you some reading to do. I feel like there are some important things for us to be aware of and understand in these posts. See, blogging isn't just about navel-gazing. Pax vobiscum.

schola library
The latest and the greatest is that we have now officially started our VBCC Schola Library. Well, it's sort of a library. We're going to upload all our reflection papers from each month to the Schola page on the site as PDF files. You can download them when you like. That's it for now. Pax vobiscum.
