We're uploading our reflection papers here as PDF files to share with you. We hope to develop a library of these papers here for future reference. We're behind on this as well. Please forgive us and keep checking back for new papers. Pax vobiscum.

THEOLOGY
is the act of the believing person reflecting upon his belief and studying it methodically in order to reach a deeper understanding of God's revelation and to surrender himself more fully and more intelligently to God's manifest will and plan of salvation in the contemporary world.

COMMUNITY SCHOLA
Welcome to the Schola. What's a Schola? Well, we know Latin is a dead language, but we like to keep it alive at least a little bit with names here and there. It sort of elevates the ordinary. Schola means school. We mean this to be a sort of "underground seminary" of sorts. An alternative to strictly academic education. A place for deeper theological reflection and learning, in the context of community. Here, we will read common materials together and write papers reflecting what we have gleaned from these materials.
We will meet once a month - on the 2nd Sunday of each month - for approximately an hour and a half, to pray, read our papers, and discuss what we have learned. In this way we pray that the Holy Spirit would use each of us to build up the others. We pray for a more solid grounding in the ancient faith.
